Our Downtown Dame

A landmark in the city’s downtown core, our two-storey indoor shopping mall features 250,000 square feet of space with loads of natural light. It’s home to respected retailers like Shoppers Drug Mart, Coles, Indigo, CLEO, Peoples Jewellers, Maurice’s, Dollarama, and more. The property opened to great fanfare in 1979, and is currently undergoing a major redevelopment to refresh and renew its look and feel.

Big Plans

In February 2023, WBG launched our large, multi-year redevelopment program. Phase 1 is currently underway: A total renovation and expansion of the food hall. Two new tenants—Juntos Mexican Eatery and Daily Chuck, a smashburger joint—have signed on to join Tim Hortons, Asian Wagon, Wok Express, Cedars, and Sip and Scoop Bubble Tea. Meanwhile, we’ve also revealed the future opening of the Butcher’s Vault + Fromagerie on the main floor. Follow our socials to stay in the loop of ongoing news!
